Destination folder can't be changed
Thanks very much for your kind advice.
Destination folder can't be changed
Leo Bourne, I had a local folder in Live Mail, and wanted to import the eml messages to a local folder in Outlook as pst under the same name, but perhaps in a different location than the Outlook account. I see now that this is not the way Outlook works.

While trying to learn the program I imported a large quantity of eml messages just to the root, without selecting a folder. I would appreciate if you could kindly tell me where that root is located, because I will need to delete those messages and reimport to an Outlook local pst folder after I create one.

I am not sure of the difference between Outlook 2016 personal file folder pst and data file pst. They seem to be serving the same purposes.
Destination folder can't be changed
Leo Bourne, Now I see the folders within Outlook, but wanted to save the imported file in a different location. Looks like that is not possible. This is my first time using the program, so please excuse my naive questions.

Also, at first when I hadn't clicked again to see the Outlook folders, I just converted some eml to Outlook without selecting a folder. Please, where did the data go?
Destination folder can't be changed
When converting eml to Outlook, the destination folder of Outlook Stores / [emailadr] cannot be changed. It shows up on the destination line as \\[emailadr]. I would like to convert a different folder.
