The utility exports the contacts, along with photos from Outlook and Exchange Server folders, into standard electronic business card files vCard format (.VCF files). Supported formats are vCard 2.1 and vCard 3.0. You can select contacts to export directly in Outlook or choose the required contact folders. Additionally, the product supports Outlook search folders and Exchange Server public folders. You can use saved contact cards to import contacts into Lotus Notes, Mozilla, Thunderbird, Eudora, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Outlook Express, Windows Live Mail, Google Gmail, Apple iCloud, Apple Address Book, Windows Address Book, Mac Address Book, iPhone, iPad, BlackBerry, Palm, Android devices, as well as other devices and programs.
Contacts can be stored in separate .VCF files or in a single file, containing all exported contacts. The program can create the original Outlook folder structure on your disk drive or network share. Doing so, the program will place contact cards into appropriate folders as they were in Outlook. Saved vCard files contain all contact information, such as first name, last name, birthday, postal and e-mail addresses, phones, faxes, notes, photos, and many other contact fields.
The ability to export contacts in batch mode and by schedule is available for Professional Edition owners. Simply create a Windows Scheduler task and specify the desired schedule.
If you want to create a backup copy of your Outlook contacts, then the best choice is the "Export Contacts to MSG Files" utility. It retains full copies of your contacts allowing the further recovery.
